Cookie Policy

This page explains how AIQ uses cookies and similar storage on the shop while you browse electronics and clothing, keep a cart, sign in, or finish checkout.

It sits next to the Privacy Policy. That page covers personal data in a wider sense. This page is only about cookies and the banner on the site.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file the site stores on your device. The shop can read it on a later visit so the cart, language, and sign-in do not reset for no reason.

2. Why the shop uses cookies

  • Keep the cart while you move between catalog pages
  • Remember the language you picked
  • Keep you signed in for that session
  • Complete checkout without losing the order you started
  • Optional measurement of how the shop is used - only if you accept it

3. Necessary cookies

These keep the session, cart, locale, and sign-in working. The shop cannot run without them. They are on when you use the site. They are not used to send you offers.

4. Optional cookies

Anything beyond the shop session stays off until you accept it in the cookie banner. That can include analytics or marketing cookies if the shop has them enabled. You can change the choice later in the same banner.

5. The cookie banner

The first visit shows a banner. Necessary cookies already run so the cart and language work. Optional cookies wait for your choice. Closing the banner without accepting optional cookies leaves those cookies off.

6. Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies in the browser. If you block necessary cookies, the cart, language, or sign-in may stop working. That is a limit of the browser, not a second shop setting.

7. Other parties

If you accept optional cookies and the shop has analytics or a similar tool turned on, that tool may set its own cookies. Payment and CAPTCHA providers may set cookies on their own pages when you pay or pass a check. We do not use those cookies to sell a list of shoppers.

8. How long they last

Session cookies drop when you close the browser. Others stay until they expire or you delete them. Exact lifetimes depend on the cookie. Ask us if you need the list for your visit.
